Back in July, Virgil Abloh released the “University Gold” as a shock drop on SNKRS and only a handful of sneakerheads managed to get them. before that, the last Off-White AF1 to release to the general public was all the way back in 2018. While we probably have our hopes set way too high, Metro Boomin has just taken to Instagram to tease the never-before-seen Off-White x Nike Air force 1 “Triple Black” – and we’re taking our first look yet!
Taking on the classic “Triple Black” colourway, this stealthy sneakers boasts a full leather construction that’s soft and smooth to the touch. A stitched-on Nike Swoosh glides across the lateral side panels, while the medial has been reserved for technical verbiage.
On this particular pair, Abloh has written “Metro 3 Times” with orange marker on the Air midsole. He’s also embroidered a crossing swords motif on the heel which references the 21 Savage’s 2016 savage mode EP that Metro Boomin produced.
We’re pretty sure that the Off-White x Nike Air force 1 “Triple Black” will never get a public release, but if they do, we’ll be the first to let you know!
